Belltown's Annual General Meeting will be Wednesday, June 13 7pm in the Garden Room at the Ron Kolbus-Lakeside Centre (102 Greenview Ave.). The executive will report on activities, we will elect a new executive for the next year and discuss a variety of ongoing and new topics. Please see the

With a provincial election looming, your Executive has helped organize a Candidates Meeting on Wednesday, May 30th at 6:30pm at Dr FJ McDonald Catholic School (2860 Ahern Ave.).
Update June 19, 2017
Thank you to all the good folk who came out to the Annual General Meeting. Among the topics discussed were the recent spring flood & consequences, Neighbourhood Watch, street painting, cars illegally using the bike path to access Greenview, and the Belltown Canada 150 Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, July 2. Your new BNA Executive is: Alex Cullen (President), Russell Latham (VP), Marianna Oprea (Treasurer), Marion Craig (Secretary), and Nick Brunette-D'Souza, Annie McDougall, Chris Moore, Sharon Rosenberg, and Leah Travis (Directors).

We have consolidated the emergency Google Group into the general Belltown Neighbourhood Association Google Group and are shutting down the emergency list at this time. More information to follow as our neighbourhood shifts to monitoring the berm/bikepath in conjunction with clean up efforts.

Our community is experiencing flooding from rising surface water, saturated ground conditions, and a rising underground water table. We've created a new page www.belltown.ca/flooding to
help everyone stay informed. We've also created an emergency communications email thread which you can join by emailing belltown-emergency-communications+subscribe@googlegroups.com. Once a member, you can email everyone
in the group by emailing belltown-emergency-communications@googlegroups.com and you will receive emails from any sending to the same address. Please email that address if you are experiencing an emergency and need help from your neighbours
. We'll also use that address to send updates on conditions as we receive them.

The April 2015 newsletter is now available in the files section and the Meeting Minutes that have been approved by the Executive are now up.
The Capital Clean Up! Event was a great success. Thanks everyone for coming and a big thanks to Kate Swetnam, the owner of the Shoppers Drugmart at 3080 Carling. This is Kate's third year in a row donating the food and supplies for the Neighbours' BBQ after the cleanup.
